Review: Essential CC Oil and Night Care Milk

[Sponsored Review]

Essential is a popular hair-care brand from Japan and has a wide range of products to help repair and care for hair. Recently, Essential relaunches its Leave On Treatment range with the brand new CC Oil and Night Care Milk.

"While many people may know that heat styling, perming and dyeing can damage your hair, they may not know that external environmental factors and some of their everyday habits can put stress on your hair and impact its health and appearance. " (!!!!!!)

The 5 Hair Stresses (External environmental factors and your own personal habits contributes to stresses to your hair):
1. Blow drying: The process of blow-drying removes moisture from the hair, both outside
and inside the hair - leaving hair dry, brittle and susceptible for further damage

2. Combing: Combing through wet hair causes great hair damage as the hair follicle is at
is most fragile state. Likewise, the friction caused by coming through dry hair can form hair knots which makes hair prone to unnecessary breakage

3. Split Ends: The ends of your hair are the oldest and driest parts. When the protective hair
cuticle is destroyed at the end of the hair, the hair splits into two or more parts.

4. Hair Breakage: Besides daily heat styling, blow drying and brushing, other seemingly
harmless actions like tying your hair into a tight ponytail or twirling your hair with your fingers exert excessive stress on your hair, resulting in hair breakage

5. Dryness: Exposure to the sun, wind or even air-conditioning can result in hair dryness.
The hair cuticle that protects the hair is weakened and is unable to retain moisture within the cuticles of the hair

So this is where Essential CC Oil comes in!!!

CC stands for Cuticle Care. It shares the same concept as BB/CC cream in skincare which moistuze, cover blemish, brighten skin etc while Essential CC oil protects your hair from 5 hair stresses! It forms a protective coat around each hair strand and protects hair, leaving you with more manageable hair (less tangles and smoothier hair). It is to be applied in the morning and can be reapplied any time of the day!

Next, Essential Night Care Milk is to protects your hair at night!!
We usually toss and turn around at night when sleeping and this protects you from pillow friction (created by toss and turn) by leaving a protective coat around each hair strand and prevent misaligned cuticles when hair rubs against the pillowcase, leaving hair more manageable the next morning (preventing mane hair the next morning). It is to be applied on damp or dry hair before going to bed.

Female tends to wash and blow dry their hair to remove the messy mane after waking up. Howevery with Cuticle Coat Protection, it helps to leave hair smooth and tangle free all day. Note: It contains hair supplement oil which is similar to hair natural oil! (Thumbs up)

Additional note: Do not rinse off the hair products after applying!

My experience with the product:
Personally for me, I'm a super lazy person in the morning. I do bathe but I'm lazy to wash my hair and blow it dry. With this Essential CC oil and night care milk, now I skip a step and sleep longer! Sometimes I don't even have to comb my hair and it looks perfectly neat! (idk is it because my hair isn't that long) BUT it creates so much convenient to me in the morning. I just had to be more hardworking at night to apply night care milk and in the morning to apply CC oil which takes less than 5 minutes! Awesome! CC oils smells like normal essential shampoo so when I apply in the morning, I feel as if I just had a hair shower while Night Care Milk has the texture of conditioner, so do not overapply!

It does make a difference with you have a manageable and beautiful hair!
